ROBERT J. ALTEVERS, AIA, NCARB

Managing Principal

Robert J. Altevers, AIA, founding Principal and President of Altevers Associates is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (N.C.A.R.B.), Urban Land Institute (ULI) and International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). He is licensed to practice architecture in the states of California, Colorado, Nevada, Texas, Idaho, Illinois and Arizona. Robert is a 1970 graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Architecture and has over 45 years of experience in architecture and interior design. He has received several awards for excellence in architecture and has been a speaker at various design conferences.

Robert established Altevers Associates Architecture and Planning and Altevers International Interior Design in 1974 with the principal emphasis on the design of Resort Hotels, Golf and Country Club facilities and Retail Centers. Robert is personally involved in all of the Altevers Associates projects and is primarily responsible for concept design, quality design review, business development and administration of the firm’s practice.

STEPHEN J. FRAZIER, LEED AP (BD+C)

Architect, Senior Associate

Stephen Frazier, Senior Associate at Altevers Associates, received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Architecture and Design from Princeton University in 1988. He is a licensed architect in the State of California and has over 30 years of architectural experience. Stephen is a LEED accredited professional and has proven his knowledge and expertise in sustainability and building efficiency on numerous recent projects.

 

Stephen joined Altevers Associates in 2001 and served as Project Manager on completed projects including: Quail Hill Village Center, Trabuco Grove Center and Newport Coast Center all located in Irvine, California; The Grand Del Mar Resort and Villas located in Del Mar, California; a 30,000 square foot private Villa in Seoul, South Korea and private residences in Del Mar and Indian Wells, California; and a 100,000 square foot golf clubhouse in Seoul, South Korea. Stephen is currently working on several retail/restaurant projects in Newport Beach and Irvine, California and a major expansion of The Lakes Country Club in Palm Desert, California.

CHARLES A. HOLT, NCARB, LEED AP

Architect, Senior Associate

Charles (Chuck) received his Bachelor of Architecture from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo,  in 2003. He is a licensed architect, NCARB, LEED Accredited Professional (BD+C) and a licensed general contractor in the State of California. Chuck’s design experience, extensive knowledge in producing complex construction documents and construction administration has proven to increase the quality of projects. His ability to establish strong communication between clients, project teams and consultants contributes greatly to maintaining project schedules and good relationships throughout the term of the project.

 

Chuck joined the design team at Altevers Associates in 2005 and served as Project Manager on numerous retail and hospitality projects that include such notable California properties as Big Canyon Country Club in Newport Beach, The Reserve in Indian Wells, Dubai Hills Clubhouse Resort and Hotel in Dubai, UAE, Rolling Hills Country Club in Rolling Hills Estates, The Bridges Country Club in Rancho Santa Fe and more.

CHRISTOPHER J. DUTTON

Project Manager

Christopher Dutton joined Altevers Associates in 1995 after attending Arizona State University where he majored in Architecture. During his nineteen year tenure at Altevers Associates, Chris has worked his way up from Draftsman to Project Coordinator and has been instrumental in providing Project Management and technical support on a vast range of projects including retail, country clubs and two five-star resort hotels.

Chris’ expertise with AutoCAD and Revit, and his ability to articulate drawing details creatively and efficiently have made Chris an important player on the Altevers Associates design team. Chris has worked on the design team as Project Coordinator and Project Manager on Shady Canyon Golf Club – Irvine, California; The Reserve Club – Indian Wells, California; Pelican Hill Golf Club – Newport Coast, California; Spanish Hills Country Club – Camarillo, California; The Resort at Pelican Hill – Newport Coast, California; Stone Eagle Golf Club – Palm Desert, California; Rancho Santana Eco-Resort Hotel and The Clubhouse at Rancho Santana – Rivas, Nicaragua and Geneva National Resort in Geneva, Wisconsin.

AIMÉE S. ALTEVERS

Director Of Interior Design

Aimée is a 1993 graduate of the University of California, Riverside with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science. Prior to completing her studies, Aimée worked in various positions within Altevers Associates where her natural talent and increasing interest in the field of interior design sparked the beginning of a successful career as an innovative designer.

 

In 1994, Aimée joined Altevers Associates and is the Director of Interior Design for Altevers International. Aimée has completed interior designs for Thunderbird Country Club – Rancho Mirage, California; Siena, a Summerlin Village – Las Vegas, NV; The Reserve Country Club – Indian Wells, California; Pelican Hill Golf Club – Newport Coast, California; Royal Oaks Country Club – Houston, Texas; Toscana Country Club, Spa, Sports Club, Casual Dining and Caffe – Indian Wells, California; Big Canyon Country Club – Newport Beach, California; Rancho Santana Eco-Resort Hotel, Clubhouse and two private residences –  Rivas Nicaragua; Rolling Hills Country Club – Rolling Hills Estates, California, 3 Creek Ranch Golf Club – Jackson Hole, Wyoming and multiple luxury private residences in Southern California.

Dara Drosman

Director of Finance & Administration

Dara received her bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of California Davis in 1991.  Following graduation, Dara moved to New York City where she discovered her skill and interest in finance working for a Wall Street brokerage house.  She returned to San Diego in 1998 to run the finance and administration for an interior design firm on Cedros Avenue in Solana Beach for ten year. Dara then worked in the newspaper industry for close to ten years, and with a compliance firm for another two before joining Altevers Associates in early 2019.  At Altevers, Dara combines her interest in design with her skill in finance and administration. Dara handles all of the firm’s finance, administration and human resources.
